The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jano Cavalcante was the one to do the kick off. Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Papunhas EC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Jano Cavalcante could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Ruy Oliveira however easily saved by the left post. Montevideo played a much better game than Papunhas EC and deserved their victory. The Papunhas EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
