Itacaruaré's Lancelot Cambero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Itacaruaré from getting a goal against them. Lancelot Cambero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orfilio Orbañanos in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabricio Checa in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Balboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Checa in the 12th minute of play forced U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Ariel Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Xaime Morales with Muharrem Duman as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Orfilio Orbañanos scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lancelot Cambero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Fabricio Checa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ariel Balboa was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The corner led U. de Tarapacá's Xaime Morales to a score. 2-0 in the 30th minute. In the 41st minute, U. de Tarapacá's Orfilio Orbañanos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Orfilio Orbañanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Lancelot Cambero made a huge save. Lancelot Cambero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Orfilio Orbañanos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Itacaruaré were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after U. de Tarapacá's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elvio Vergaray took the corner. After taking down the ball on Itacaruaré's corner Fabricio Checa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ariel Balboa quite easily take care of the ball. Orfilio Orbañanos struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Lancelot Cambero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U. de Tarapacá. Domingo Barcena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lancelot Cambero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. If Domingo Barcena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Barcena in the 65th minute of play forced Itacaruaré's goalkeeper Lancelot Cambero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Itacaruaré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Ubelteso to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Benitez came free, but Ariel Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itacaruaré's Elvio Vergaray quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kim Heers, made in the 75th minute of the game. After 78 played minutes Fabricio Checa rounded U. de Tarapacá's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-2. Ariel Balboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 严康诚, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 严康诚 in the 84th minute of play. Lancelot Cambero came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by U. de Tarapacá's Domingo Barcena. But to his dismay, Domingo Barcena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by 严康诚 in the 89th minute of play forced U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Ariel Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 严康诚 in the 90th minute of the match.
