Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ahmet Reha Serhan got the match started through his kick off. Tarakan's Paijo Sembiring got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andra Martin in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kahraman Alatay saved MERDO from getting behind. Özbek Sökmensu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Haryanto Putiray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fery Akmal hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to MERDO getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nadir Temel hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Andi Ie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kahraman Alatay. MERDO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andi Ie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ahmet Reha Serhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özbek Sökmensu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andra Martin's late challenge caught a MERDO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andra Martin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Tarakan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andra Martin to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to MERDO getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Hakkı Devrim Koryürek hit a great ball. Tarakan's Andi Ie got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, MERDO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nadir Temel to maneuver through the defense. Andi Ie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kahraman Alatay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tarakan's Andra Martin got a free kick in the 44th minute. Ahmet Reha Serhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paijo Sembiring to make the kick off. Ahmet Reha Serhan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haryanto Putiray having to make a save. Andi Ie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Kahraman Alatay made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Tarakan's goal looked a bit too open when Özbek Sökmensu came free, but Haryanto Putiray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, MERDO's goalkeeper Kahraman Alatay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andi Ie. Andi Ie in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kahraman Alatay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. MERDO's Kahraman Alatay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paijo Sembiring in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Paijo Sembiring got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Tarakan booed when MERDO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burhanettin Yiğithan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kahraman Alatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paijo Sembiring in the 76th minute of play. If Ahmet Reha Serhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MERDO's Kahraman Alatay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save MERDO from getting a goal against them. Andi Ie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kahraman Alatay having to interfere. The supporters of Tarakan booed when MERDO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kerimhan Hasret didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paijo Sembiring was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Tarakan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 95th minute, Cabbar Kırca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarakan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
