Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Colazo's zone, Amadeo Olazabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Nahia came out of the goal and Amadeo Olazabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute of the game, Gaspar Llanos landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 6 minutes into the game, Fermin Robledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Punta Carretas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colazo the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Punta Carretas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Robledo to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Roman Atarrabi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelito Cirion, 1-0. A collision led to Colazo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Eugenio Frisco hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Siro Molinuevo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Venancio Nahia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute, Dario Phelipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roque Peñacerrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Molinuevo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Nahia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Colazo got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Frisco. Venancio Nahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Peñacerrada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siro Molinuevo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Venancio Nahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Roque Peñacerrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Nahia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roque Peñacerrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Atarrabi to make the kick off. Roman Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelito Cirion having to interfere. Roman Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siro Molinuevo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Venancio Nahia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Punta Carretas FC. Roman Atarrabi might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelito Cirion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Atarrabi ran back to his position shaking his head. Eugenio Frisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Marcelito Cirion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Roman Atarrabi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelito Cirion was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Venancio Nahia made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Roque Peñacerrada sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th match minute, Punta Carretas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Peñacerrada to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th match minute, Colazo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Etxatxu to maneuver through the defense. Colazo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Siro Molinuevo 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ugutz Urbina during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Punta Carretas FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ugutz Urbina hit a great ball. When Atilano Etxatxu came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Colazo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Etxatxu couldn't finish the play. The Colazo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Punta Carretas FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Punta Carretas FC.
