Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ahmet Reha Serhan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Cabbar Kırca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MERDO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bourniαs the free kick. Ahmet Reha Serhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakovos Tselekidis having to interfere. Kahraman Alatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manos Kapsimalis in the 27th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Özbek Sökmensu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bourniαs's Iakovos Tselekidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Cabbar Kırca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kahraman Alatay made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Makis Kaklamanis sent off a good shot on target. Özbek Sökmensu struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Iakovos Tselekidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MERDO. In the 43rd match minute, MERDO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nadir Temel to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Makis Kaklamanis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kahraman Alatay. MERDO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Makis Kaklamanis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manos Kapsimalis was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manos Kapsimalis in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kahraman Alatay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Makis Kaklamanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manos Kapsimalis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manos Kapsimalis in the 61st minute of play forced MERDO's goalkeeper Kahraman Alatay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kahraman Alatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makis Kaklamanis in the 64th minute of play. Manos Kapsimalis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manos Kapsimalis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kahraman Alatay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Makis Kaklamanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Manos Kapsimalis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kahraman Alatay was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Makis Kaklamanis came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Bourniαs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Makis Kaklamanis couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, MERDO's goal looked a bit too open when Manos Kapsimalis came free, but Kahraman Alatay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Manos Kapsimalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bourniαs were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MERDO for a fine match.
