In the 25thth minute of the game Valentin Lesardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarakan's Haryanto Putiray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Valentin Lesardo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ariel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Lesardo couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Tarakan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ariel FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Haryanto Putiray, was totally fooled by Ariel FC's Bernardino Cuarto, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. David Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paijo Sembiring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Lesardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haryanto Putiray having to make a save. Andra Martin's late challenge caught a Ariel FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andra Martin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Andra Martin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Frederico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Haryanto Putiray made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Lesardo in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haryanto Putiray saved Tarakan from getting behind. David Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andi Ie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Ariel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andi Ie came free, but David Vimaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Paijo Sembiring got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes of play, Ariel FC's Mauro Gauargi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haryanto Putiray was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Ariel FC's goalkeeper David Vimaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andi Ie. Bernardino Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Haryanto Putiray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Frederico in the 69th minute of the match. Angel Frederico struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Haryanto Putiray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ariel FC. Andi Ie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. David Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paijo Sembiring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, Ariel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Chico to maneuver through the defense. Fadhly Sembiring was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, one of Tarakan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 93 minutes into the match, Tarakan's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Lesardo came free, but Haryanto Putiray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Angel Frederico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarakan's Haryanto Putiray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dede Wijaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Gauargi hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ariel FC had won after a very even match.
