In the 9th minute, Durval Fraga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Forlusitanos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Venancio Nahia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Colazo booed when Forlusitanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Paixão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabricio Gaur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Valentim Baía. Forlusitanos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Durval Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Nahia having to interfere. Hilário Barcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Venancio Nahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Telinhos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Nahia having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Colazo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Phelipe to maneuver through the defense. Valentim Baía took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Osvaldo Telinhos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st match minute, Forlusitanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Valentim Baía showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Phelipe in the 43rd minute of the match. If Durval Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Durval Fraga made a kick off. Flávio Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. When Roman Atarrabi fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colazo's protests and gave Roman Atarrabi a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Paixão got free with Venancio Nahia in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Forlusitanos booed when Colazo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Etxatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Forlusitanos's Osvaldo Telinhos made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venancio Nahia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 minutes of play, Colazo's Eugenio Frisco made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentim Baía was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colazo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Caetano Santarém 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-7. Forlusitanos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
