In the 12th minute, Horacio Nesto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of David Vimaro, passed just outside the right post. Octavio Mantzio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Nicanor Ioritz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Angel Frederico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Abajas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Angel Frederico scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Abajas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Angel Frederico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Abajas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Lidon made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ariel FC's zone, Horacio Nesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Vimaro came out of the goal and Horacio Nesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 53 played minutes Agulleiro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Justo Mendiko. The long shot by Bernardino Cuarto in the 54th minute really tested Tomas Abajas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Agulleiro F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomas Abajas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Frederico. 60 minutes into the match, Agulleiro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Gaizko came free, but Tomas Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Ariel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Lehoi came free, but David Vimaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Frederico in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomas Abajas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Lesardo in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Abajas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Benedicto Gaizko fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ariel FC's protests and gave Benedicto Gaizko a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Agulleiro F.C. booed when Ariel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Gaizko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute Valentin Lesardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emilio Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Rigoberto Lehoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agulleiro F.C. and the Ariel FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Agulleiro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Lehoi to maneuver through the defense.
