Manos Kapsimalis started the match with the kick off. AS Rapperswil-Jona's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Manos Kapsimalis scored to the left of an out of position Gerd Laforge, making the score, 1-0. Gerd Laforge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manos Kapsimalis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, AS Rapperswil-Jona's Gerd Laforge got control of the ball when Giannis Sapounakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Bourniαs's Makis Kaklamanis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerd Laforge was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Petros Kalabokis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bourniαs's supporters rose to their feet, but Petros Kalabokis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerd Laforge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerd Laforge didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. After 32 minutes of play, AS Rapperswil-Jona's Celestino Drescher made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iakovos Tselekidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot by Timos Kakanoulias from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Gerd Laforge's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bourniαs's Manos Kapsimalis got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manos Kapsimalis in the 42nd minute of play forced AS Rapperswil-Jona's goalkeeper Gerd Laforge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd play minute Makis Kaklamanis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gerd Laforge. 4-1. Gerd Laforge was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Nikos Voulgaridis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nikos Voulgaridis really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The wind increased when Celestino Drescher made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bourniαs getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Petros Kalabokis hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the game Bjarne Fröhlicher kicked a great long shot which passed Iakovos Tselekidis straight ahead into the goal, Result 5-2. One couldn't see Bjarne Fröhlicher behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Gerd Laforge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Makis Kaklamanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes AS Rapperswil-Jona got a freekick which was hit by Hercules Dommen. In the 62nd minute of the match Petros Kalabokis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerd Laforge showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 63 minutes of play, Bourniαs's Makis Kaklamanis made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerd Laforge was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerd Laforge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manos Kapsimalis, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Gunter Hurschler kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Makis Kaklamanis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bjarne Fröhlicher's late challenge caught a Bourniαs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bjarne Fröhlicher helped the player get up and apologised. Bjarne Fröhlicher hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Makis Kaklamanis took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerd Laforge. Gerd Laforge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. Bourniαs's Panos Giannoulis got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Makis Kaklamanis scored 8-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerd Laforge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manos Kapsimalis scored 9-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerd Laforge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Celestino Drescher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iakovos Tselekidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Drescher, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
