MERDO:s Kahraman Alatay showed great skill when he stopped Benedicto Errapel:s penalty. In the 80thth minute of the game Ahmet Reha Serhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lomitas FC's Dario Berenguer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Carlos Luken fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lomitas FC's protests and gave Carlos Luken a yellow card for diving instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 minutes, Cabbar Kırca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MERDO and the Lomitas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes MERDO got a freekick which was hit by Cabbar Kırca. 89 minutes into the match, MERDO's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Gaitan came free, but Kahraman Alatay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lomitas FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Carlos Luken hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lomitas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
