Punta Carretas FC's Marcelito Cirion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paijo Sembiring in the 4th minute of play. Marcelito Cirion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paijo Sembiring's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Xavian Tavera kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tarakan's zone, Roque Peñacerrada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haryanto Putiray came out of the goal and Roque Peñacerrada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Andra Martin fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarakan's protests and gave Andra Martin a yellow card for diving instead. Andra Martin kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Punta Carretas FC's Siro Molinuevo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haryanto Putiray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haryanto Putiray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Molinuevo's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Haryanto Putiray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Molinuevo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Roque Peñacerrada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Punta Carretas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Peñacerrada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haryanto Putiray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haryanto Putiray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Molinuevo in the 48th minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Molinuevo to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Paijo Sembiring cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marcelito Cirion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andi Ie in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelito Cirion saved Punta Carretas FC from getting behind. Marcelito Cirion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andi Ie in the 69th minute of the match. If Roque Peñacerrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Andi Ie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarakan's supporters rose to their feet, but Andi Ie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelito Cirion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Siro Molinuevo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Molinuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haryanto Putiray having to interfere. Haryanto Putiray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roque Peñacerrada in the 96th minute.
