When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Andi Ie put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tomas Abajas. Horacio Nesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Andi Ie sped through Agulleiro F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomas Abajas. Agulleiro F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saul Santikurtz in the 25th minute. In the 26th match minute, Tarakan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mulyana Fitriansyah to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute of the match Agulleiro F.C. got a corner. Tarakan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saul Santikurtz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Abajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andi Ie, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Horacio Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haryanto Putiray having to interfere. The Agulleiro F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tarakan were winning 0-2.

In the 52nd minute, Paijo Sembiring got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andi Ie struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Tomas Abajas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarakan. If Emilio Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haryanto Putiray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Lidon in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haryanto Putiray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th match minute, Tarakan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferry Ginting to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Saul Santikurtz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tarakan's Haryanto Putiray didn't even have to move. The supporters of Tarakan booed when Agulleiro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Santikurtz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Bongky Sembiring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Lidon scored 1-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haryanto Putiray, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horacio Nesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Haryanto Putiray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tarakan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
