Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ahmet Reha Serhan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute, Hilário Barcelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kahraman Alatay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Kahraman Alatay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Fraga in the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in MERDO's zone, Durval Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kahraman Alatay came out of the goal and Durval Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastião Paixão charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Paixão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cabbar Kırca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Valentim Baía. Forlusitanos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kahraman Alatay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Santarém in the 19th minute of the match. Kahraman Alatay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to MERDO getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cabbar Kırca hit a great ball. When Burhanettin Yiğithan fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MERDO's protests and gave Burhanettin Yiğithan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, MERDO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burhanettin Yiğithan to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Telinhos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özbek Sökmensu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilário Barcelos struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Kahraman Alatay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forlusitanos. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind MERDO's goalkeeper Kahraman Alatay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Fraga in the 37th minute of play forced MERDO's goalkeeper Kahraman Alatay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Osvaldo Telinhos came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Forlusitanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Telinhos couldn't finish the play. Kahraman Alatay came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Forlusitanos's Caetano Santarém. But to his dismay, Caetano Santarém quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Flávio Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilário Barcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Kahraman Alatay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Durval Fraga made the kick off in the second half. Kahraman Alatay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Durval Fraga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 51 minute of play. Osvaldo Telinhos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kahraman Alatay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caetano Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Forlusitanos's Durval Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Reha Serhan took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentim Baía. Valentim Baía dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. If Osvaldo Telinhos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kahraman Alatay was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Caetano Santarém capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Caetano Santarém really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. After 80 played minutes MERDO got a freekick which was hit by Nadir Temel. Durval Fraga struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Kahraman Alatay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forlusitanos. After 83 minutes of play, Forlusitanos's Durval Fraga made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kahraman Alatay was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Durval Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Forlusitanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durval Fraga couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Forlusitanos's Caetano Santarém sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kahraman Alatay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Porfírio Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kahraman Alatay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durval Fraga in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kahraman Alatay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hilário Barcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Forlusitanos played a much better game than MERDO and deserved their victory. The MERDO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
