After 16 minutes of play, Ariel FC's Baldomero Gonzo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelito Cirion was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelito Cirion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Frederico in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Punta Carretas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zigor Cuellar to maneuver through the defense.
