Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Siro Molinuevo got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, one of Lomitas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lomitas FC. After a defensive mix-up in Punta Carretas FC's zone, Americo Quintun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelito Cirion came out of the goal and Americo Quintun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Siro Molinuevo scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Berenguer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dario Berenguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Molinuevo in the 13th minute of play. 0-2 became the score in the 16th minute when Siro Molinuevo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Americo Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lomitas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Quintun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelito Cirion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 minutes of play, Punta Carretas FC's Siro Molinuevo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Berenguer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dario Berenguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Peñacerrada in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Quintun got free with Marcelito Cirion in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Siro Molinuevo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Berenguer having to make a save.

The wind increased when Marcelo Gaitan made the kick off in the second half. Marcelito Cirion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Quintun in the 52nd minute of the match. Marcelo Gaitan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelito Cirion having to interfere. With 59 minutes on the clock, Zigor Cuellar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Dario Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Olazabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Punta Carretas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
