If Andi Ie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Scotland Neck AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paijo Sembiring came free, but Abd al-Aziz Chebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haryanto Putiray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noureddine Brahimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Faouzi Touhami fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scotland Neck AFC's protests and gave Faouzi Touhami a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Scotland Neck AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tarakan:s goal. If Abd al-Asis Kafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andi Ie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abd al-Aziz Chebal having to make a save. Abd al-Aziz Chebal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paijo Sembiring, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paijo Sembiring stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bellemou Ahmed helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tarakan booed when Scotland Neck AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bellemou Ahmed didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Scotland Neck AFC's zone, Andi Ie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abd al-Aziz Chebal came out of the goal and Andi Ie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdelkader Kermali's late challenge caught a Tarakan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelkader Kermali helped the player get up and apologised. Andi Ie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Abd al-Aziz Chebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Andi Ie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abd al-Aziz Chebal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 67th minute, Faouzi Touhami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Paijo Sembiring took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Abd al-Aziz Chebal to make any attempt to save it. Paijo Sembiring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abd al-Aziz Chebal having to interfere. Andi Ie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Noureddine Brahimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haryanto Putiray having to interfere. Abd al-Asis Kafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haryanto Putiray having to interfere. Bellemou Ahmed hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Bongky Sembiring shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abd al-Aziz Chebal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Haryanto Putiray came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Scotland Neck AFC's Abd al-Asis Kafi. But to his dismay, Abd al-Asis Kafi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Noureddine Brahimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haryanto Putiray having to interfere. Tarakan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
