Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tarakan's Paijo Sembiring started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Cordera Silvestre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Paijo Sembiring's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelito Cirion was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. When Precioso Amundarain fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punta Carretas FC's protests and gave Precioso Amundarain a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Punta Carretas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Precioso Amundarain to maneuver through the defense. Marcelito Cirion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paijo Sembiring in the 6th minute of play. When Punta Carretas FC's Siro Molinuevo in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tarakan's goalie prevented a goal. After 12 played minutes Tarakan got a freekick which was hit by Bongky Sembiring. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paijo Sembiring in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelito Cirion saved Punta Carretas FC from getting behind. Tarakan's Haryanto Putiray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Molinuevo in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Ugutz Urbina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Punta Carretas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarakan the free kick. Ugutz Urbina kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Siro Molinuevo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Haryanto Putiray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelito Cirion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paijo Sembiring in the 46th minute of play.

Haryanto Putiray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Peñacerrada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 minutes, Paijo Sembiring mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarakan and the Punta Carretas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Punta Carretas FC booed when Tarakan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paijo Sembiring didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Roque Peñacerrada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Olazabal during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes Punta Carretas FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Olazabal. 62 minutes into the match, Punta Carretas FC's goalkeeper Marcelito Cirion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andi Ie. After 65 minutes of play Punta Carretas FC's Ugutz Urbina was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ugutz Urbina kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Punta Carretas FC's zone, Paijo Sembiring stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelito Cirion came out of the goal and Paijo Sembiring tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haryanto Putiray came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Punta Carretas FC's Roque Peñacerrada. But to his dismay, Roque Peñacerrada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Punta Carretas FC's Marcelito Cirion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paijo Sembiring in the 73rd minute of play. Andra Martin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Marcelito Cirion made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Punta Carretas FC's Amadeo Olazabal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haryanto Putiray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Andi Ie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelito Cirion was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. When Paijo Sembiring came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Tarakan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paijo Sembiring couldn't finish the play. After 94 played minutes Tarakan got a freekick which was hit by Fadhly Sembiring. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
