The Mantorp fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Mantorp's Aaron Lundqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Valdemar Hurtig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernt Kihlberg made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Bernt Kihlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mantorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Kihlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rafael Veiga fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferrocarrilera AFC's protests and gave Rafael Veiga a yellow card for diving instead. Rogelio Dei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rogelio Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Hurtig in the 77th minute of the match. Rafael Veiga got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 80th minute, Rafael Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferrocarrilera AFC's Rogelio Dei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Bolin in the 82nd minute of play.
