The supporters of Flamengo booed when México Eterno MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabri Martin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Flamengo's Qiao Nan Wen fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristide Ciuvică in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck August Hjortberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jailson Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Qiao Nan Wen sent off a good shot on target. August Hjortberg came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by México Eterno MZC's Aristide Ciuvică. But to his dismay, Aristide Ciuvică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 30th minute Qiao Nan Wen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Aristide Ciuvică's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Hjortberg was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 40th minute, but Jailson Aparecido got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving México Eterno MZC hanging dry this time. 43 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Ciuvică came free, but August Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Valter Malekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hjortberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Flamengo booed when México Eterno MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Fenomeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Aristide Ciuvică's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but August Hjortberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. August Hjortberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 63rd minute of the match. After 67 minutes of play, Flamengo's Qiao Nan Wen made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jailson Aparecido was left in no man's land by his defense there! México Eterno MZC's Ignacio Quiroga was substituted for Tony Chaves. México Eterno MZC's Richart Richardsson was substituted for Aristide Ciuvică. Flamengo's Henrik Kilström was substituted for Greger Strömbom. Flamengo's Kasper Bivall was substituted for Qiao Nan Wen. Kasper Bivall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jailson Aparecido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Jailson Aparecido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasper Bivall's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, México Eterno MZC's Gabri Martin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 91st minute Li Nan Yu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasper Bivall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. México Eterno MZC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
