With a little luck, O rey Iván's Aristides Barea got control of the ball when Noel Van Deyck tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Ahlqvist got free with Aristides Barea in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A well-hit corner resulted in Anders Ahlqvist heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to O rey Iván getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Franz Kafka hit a great ball. Aristides Barea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominic Van de Loock in the 18th minute. Aristides Barea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Van de Loock in the 20th minute of play. Aristides Barea made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Noel Van Deyck sent off a good shot on target. O rey Iván's Aristides Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominic Van de Loock in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Anders Ahlqvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Aristides Barea however easily saved by the left post. Aristides Barea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominic Van de Loock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwan Zjawin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Fliz in the 28th minute of play. After 32nd play minutes Mihály Fülep shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Iwan Zjawin and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominic Van de Loock in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristides Barea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augusto Fliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42ndth minute of the game Mihály Fülep who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sköll F.C.'s Iwan Zjawin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 44 minutes of play, O rey Iván's Mihály Fülep made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iwan Zjawin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominic Van de Loock was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the O rey Iván defense, Noel Van Deyck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Barea. The O rey Iván fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Barea should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Ademar da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. O rey Iván's Jacinto Resto was substituted for Modesto Garcia. O rey Iván's Pastor Martxot was substituted for Dionisio Orland. In the 61st minute Mihály Fülep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihály Fülep kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. O rey Iván's Franz Kafka managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vicente Rujula in the 70 minute of the game. Aristides Barea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Van Deyck, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The Sköll F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Sköll F.C.'s Dominic Van de Loock looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute Mihály Fülep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihály Fülep in the 86th minute of play forced Sköll F.C.'s goalkeeper Iwan Zjawin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. O rey Iván's Aristides Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Van Deyck in the 89th minute of play. Anders Ahlqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Aristides Barea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes O rey Iván got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Reynardo. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched O rey Iván eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
