When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ademar da Costa sped through The North Face's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrick McLennan. The North Face's Patrick McLennan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Van Deyck in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, The North Face's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Van Deyck came free, but Patrick McLennan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Sköll F.C. got a corner. The North Face's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dino Rea ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sköll F.C.'s Dino Rea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patrick McLennan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Patrick McLennan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademar da Costa in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Grant McPhedron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominic Van de Loock scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick McLennan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrick McLennan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Van Deyck, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Sköll F.C. booed when The North Face was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Buchan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Dominic Van de Loock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The North Face's Patrick McLennan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes in the game, Joshua Cumming fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Iwan Zjawin having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Anders Ahlqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute Ademar da Costa suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Cordarryl Garijo fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The North Face's protests and gave Cordarryl Garijo a yellow card for diving instead. Cordarryl Garijo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Dino Rea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sköll F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Rea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eric Buchan kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Sköll F.C. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominic Van de Loock was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, The North Face's goalkeeper Patrick McLennan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noel Van Deyck. Joshua Cumming's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Zjawin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute Dominic Van de Loock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick McLennan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 73 in the game by Anders Ahlqvist from a close distance when the talented Patrick McLennan managed to make a qualified save. The North Face's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Joshua Cumming's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Zjawin was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 85th minute, Dominic Van de Loock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick McLennan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Iwan Zjawin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Cumming in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to The North Face getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Eric Buchan hit a great ball. Sköll F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
