In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avesta's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Eklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Mihály Fülep came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the O rey Iván fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihály Fülep couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Avesta's goal looked a bit too open when Mihály Fülep came free, but Jens-Ola Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

O rey Iván made a substitution. Pastor Martxot replaced Dionisio Orland. After 58 played minutes O rey Iván got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Reynardo. In the 61st minute, Mihály Fülep left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The O rey Iván fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 68 minutes, Mihály Fülep made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Avesta's Jens-Ola Eklund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Mihály Fülep ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Ola Eklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 74 minutes into the game, Valentin Engman threw the ball into play from the sideline. O rey Iván's Franz Kafka quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Mihály Fülep sped through Avesta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jens-Ola Eklund. 80 minutes into the game, Mihály Fülep cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Jens-Ola Eklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the match, Avesta's goal looked a bit too open when Mihály Fülep came free, but Jens-Ola Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihály Fülep in the 87th minute of play forced Avesta's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Avesta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for O rey Iván.
