Iwan Zjawin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Albu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Iwan Zjawin made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Gelu Băcila sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominic Van de Loock in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ola Eklund saved Avesta from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Dominic Van de Loock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Ola Eklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jens-Ola Eklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominic Van de Loock went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Avesta's Gelu Băcila came free and shot a quick shot against goal 24 minutes in the game, fortunately Iwan Zjawin had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Gelu Băcila put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Iwan Zjawin. Jens-Ola Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Van de Loock in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Van de Loock in the 32nd minute of play forced Avesta's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Sköll F.C. got a corner. Avesta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dino Rea ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Anders Ahlqvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Avesta's Jens-Ola Eklund did a great save. Sköll F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dino Rea in the 36th minute. Sköll F.C.'s Dino Rea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jens-Ola Eklund in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 38 minutes into the match, Dominic Van de Loock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens-Ola Eklund. Avesta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominic Van de Loock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 41stth minute of the game Dominic Van de Loock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avesta's Jens-Ola Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 42 minutes, Viggo Carlsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avesta and the Sköll F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viggo Carlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Efthimis Sardinis in the 44th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jens-Ola Eklund's left hand side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sabin Albu to make the kick off. Sköll F.C.'s Iwan Zjawin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Albu in the 51st minute of play. Iwan Zjawin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Băcila in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Van de Loock in the 59th minute of play forced Avesta's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Sköll F.C.'s Dominic Van de Loock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ola Eklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Noel Van Deyck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jens-Ola Eklund came out and tried to block the shot, but Noel Van Deyck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 75th minute. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sköll F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olof Orre was slow to take the kick. During this time Avesta's players had a chance to rest. Dominic Van de Loock's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Jens-Ola Eklund skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Efthimis Sardinis hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes, Avesta's Olof Orre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iwan Zjawin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Avesta reached it. Sköll F.C. played a much better game than Avesta and deserved their victory. The Avesta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
