When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Márió Rákosi sped through K.S. Wichura Targanice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristóvão Ortiz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olavo Guerreiro got free with Cristóvão Ortiz in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Márió Rákosi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Olavo Guerreiro came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the BEYOĞLU ÇUKURCUMA 1965 fans jumped to their feet.
