Basílio Ornelas might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ján Oblak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basílio Ornelas ran back to his position shaking his head. Ján Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasper Bivall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Kolba came free, but August Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Flamengo's August Hjortberg got control of the ball when Ted Lasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Flamengo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wittbach SSA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
