After having played for 4 minutes, Robertas Lewandowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robertas Lewandowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Dacio got free with Tanek Wojtyna in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Milosz Turak made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jerzy Oliszewski immediately put the ball in play. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Florentino Dacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tanek Wojtyna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, ACe Aimaro Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Er Håland came free, but Dido Kardashev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tanek Wojtyna made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Jerzy Oliszewski sent off a good shot on target. José Vítor Sampaio's late challenge caught a U21 Poland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Vítor Sampaio helped the player get up and apologised. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Er Håland to strike the kick off in the second half. Federico Chiesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dido Kardashev having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blue Haze in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanek Wojtyna saved U21 Poland from getting behind. In the 62nd minute Robertas Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dido Kardashev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
