C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Távora came free, but 毛平银 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Lohitzun kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Gabriel Távora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Las Momias F. C.'s 毛平银 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Carlos Mafra put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Terceirense F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Las Momias F. C.:s goal. When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, Las Momias F. C.'s Haroldo Lleir got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Robert Enke. After 17 minutes, Viriato Semedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terceirense F.C. and the Las Momias F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Semedo. The long shot by Nestor Clausen in the 18th minute really tested Robert Enke's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Remigio Ishmael hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Zarco Sarmento hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Cayetano Lohitzun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 played minutes Las Momias F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Lohitzun. Robert Enke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Tarragon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Luis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 毛平银 having to interfere. Aldo Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 毛平银 having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Anjos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s Lucas Luis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 毛平银 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Armando Parente fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terceirense F.C.'s protests and gave Armando Parente a yellow card for diving instead. Robert Enke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Tarragon in the 62nd minute of play. Lucas Luis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 毛平银 having to make a save. Terceirense F.C.'s Anselmo Baldaia was substituted for Gabriel Távora. Cayetano Oihan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s Nicolas Guerreiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 毛平银 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute Cristian Tarragon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Enke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mário Rijo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 毛平银. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mário Rijo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute, Cayetano Lohitzun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Luis fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 88th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The throw-in from Cayetano Oihan in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Terceirense F.C.'s Lucas Luis.
