Dick van der Stoel came out and tried to block the shot, but Svetoslav Vardarov slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Expresso Ranelagh's Arif Tugay Alkın got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute of the game Michael Valentijn made a throw-in which Sylvan Baggio played forward. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Fargo SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Expresso Ranelagh:s goal. Dick van der Stoel had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Svetoslav Vardarov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Expresso Ranelagh's Svetoslav Vardarov after 37 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Fargo SC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-0. Pablo Lohitzun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neshat Vangjeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dick van der Stoel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetoslav Vardarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Pedro Augusto Luz's late challenge caught a Expresso Ranelagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Augusto Luz helped the player get up and apologised. 48 minutes into the game, one of Fargo SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 49 minutes, Expresso Ranelagh's Svetoslav Vardarov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dick van der Stoel.

In the 58th match minute, Expresso Ranelagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svetoslav Vardarov to maneuver through the defense. Arkadiusz Siekierka charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arkadiusz Siekierka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Fargo SC got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Siekierka. 69 minutes into the match, Svetoslav Vardarov notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Fargo SC's Dick van der Stoel. Dick van der Stoel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Arif Tugay Alkın made a precise shot to the right of Dick van der Stoel. Fargo SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Expresso Ranelagh made a substitution. Honorato Chap replaced Victor de Souza. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fargo SC's goalkeeper Dick van der Stoel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 95 minutes of play, Expresso Ranelagh's Márcio Lago made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dick van der Stoel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Expresso Ranelagh players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
