The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 minutes, Alexandre Soares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The supporters of Ekipa Gabi booed when AM United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucjan Dembowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hildeberto Ramalho. AM United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, AM United's Lisandro Oliveira got a free kick in the 14th minute. Hildeberto Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doru Mihuț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hildeberto Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Mihuț in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AM United's zone, Doru Mihuț stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hildeberto Ramalho came out of the goal and Doru Mihuț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Francis Calmes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francis Calmes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Oliveira in the 35th minute. Lucjan Dembowski charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucjan Dembowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ekipa Gabi's Lucjan Dembowski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Armindo Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, AM United's goal looked a bit too open when Bartosz Olejarz came free, but Hildeberto Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Lucjan Dembowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 minutes of play, Ekipa Gabi's Joel Marko made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hildeberto Ramalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damian Chowaniec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd match minute, AM United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. AM United's Hildeberto Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save AM United from getting a goal against them. After 78 played minutes Ekipa Gabi got a freekick which was hit by Aureliusz Winograd. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Modesto in the 79th minute of play forced Ekipa Gabi's goalkeeper Francis Calmes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Chowaniec's late challenge caught a AM United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Chowaniec helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Ekipa Gabi got a freekick which was hit by Damian Chowaniec. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Xavier Modesto managed to get in a good position for a shot. AM United's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Modesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francis Calmes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xavier Modesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Manuel Sales managed to get in a good position for a shot. AM United's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Sales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francis Calmes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
