Lucjan Dembowski hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekipa Gabi's goalkeeper Francis Calmes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Doru Baicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes Ekipa Gabi got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Dembowski. Nechifor Beșliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francis Calmes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nechifor Beșliu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francis Calmes was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. A well-hit corner resulted in Cristi Dulca heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Halil Utku Evvah made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Bartosz Olejarz sent off a good shot on target. Lucjan Dembowski got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Francis Calmes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nechifor Beșliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nechifor Beșliu took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francis Calmes. Francis Calmes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 44 minutes into the game, Nechifor Beșliu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Francis Calmes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Chowaniec made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ksawery Raflewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ekipa Gabi's Francis Calmes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Gologan in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Eintracht Cernavoda's zone, Damian Chowaniec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halil Utku Evvah came out of the goal and Damian Chowaniec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Eintracht Cernavoda booed when Ekipa Gabi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Bycofski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes of play, Eintracht Cernavoda's Gigel Gologan made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francis Calmes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eintracht Cernavoda's Toader Bogrea was substituted for Nechifor Beșliu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gigel Gologan got free with Francis Calmes in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Francis Calmes managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Eintracht Cernavoda's Gigel Gologan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Ekipa Gabi's Francis Calmes got control of the ball when Doru Baicu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eintracht Cernavoda were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Ekipa Gabi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Narcis Bunescu took the corner. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Gigel Gologan sped through Ekipa Gabi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francis Calmes. A collision led to Ekipa Gabi getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Joel Marko hit a great ball. Francis Calmes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Bogrea in the 92nd minute of play. 0-7 became the score in the 97th minute when Gigel Gologan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Eintracht Cernavoda players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
