FC Wingspan's Tobias Göransson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save FC Wingspan from getting a goal against them. Tobias Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Mangas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Neshat Vangjeli was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Fargo SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 19th minute, Jens-Ove Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arkadiusz Siekierka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Tobias Göransson made a huge save. FC Wingspan's Fabian Jonsson got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Virgilio Mangas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tobias Göransson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Neshat Vangjeli made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Göransson. FC Wingspan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 43 minutes into the game, Sylvan Baggio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tobias Göransson. Sylvan Baggio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jan-Olof Abrahamsson struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Dick van der Stoel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wingspan. When Michael Valentijn fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fargo SC's protests and gave Michael Valentijn a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Michael Valentijn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 minutes, Klaas Gronden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fargo SC and the FC Wingspan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Fargo SC got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Gronden. Fargo SC's Dick van der Stoel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Fargo SC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvan Baggio in the 60th minute of play forced FC Wingspan's goalkeeper Tobias Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylvan Baggio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Göransson having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Fargo SC got a freekick which was hit by Neshat Vangjeli. In the 69th match minute, FC Wingspan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Ahlbom to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Göransson came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Fargo SC's Virgilio Mangas. But to his dismay, Virgilio Mangas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Tobias Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Mangas in the 87th minute of play. Tobias Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Mangas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neshat Vangjeli in the 90th minute of play forced FC Wingspan's goalkeeper Tobias Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Sylvan Baggio put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tobias Göransson. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Wingspan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fargo SC.
