Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xavier Modesto started the match with the kick off. Gabriel Távora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hildeberto Ramalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, AM United's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Távora came free, but Hildeberto Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Gabriel Távora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hildeberto Ramalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in AM United's zone, Gabriel Távora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hildeberto Ramalho came out of the goal and Gabriel Távora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armindo Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Baptista having to interfere. The supporters of Terceirense F.C. booed when AM United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by AM United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustavo Amorim was slow to take the kick. During this time Terceirense F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The Terceirense F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Terceirense F.C.'s Gabriel Távora looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 35th minute, AM United's Jerónimo Leme seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jerónimo Leme the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AM United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jerónimo Leme had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After some careless play in the AM United defense, Gustavo Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hildeberto Ramalho. The AM United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hildeberto Ramalho should have stopped the shot. After 39 played minutes AM United got a freekick which was hit by Artur Mendes. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AM United's goalkeeper Hildeberto Ramalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute Gabriel Távora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hildeberto Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes in the game, Gabriel Távora dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Távora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cássio Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Sales in the 51st minute of the match. Anselmo Baldaia took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hildeberto Ramalho. Hildeberto Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 76 minutes into the game, Armindo Viana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AM United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terceirense F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, AM United's Artur Mendes got a free kick in the 78th minute. Anselmo Baldaia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hildeberto Ramalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Baldaia's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute Anselmo Baldaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hildeberto Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hildeberto Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Baldaia in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Terceirense F.C.'s Anselmo Baldaia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hildeberto Ramalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in AM United's zone, Anselmo Baldaia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hildeberto Ramalho came out of the goal and Anselmo Baldaia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
