The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Berkan Temel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Napoleon Hendzel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berkan Temel went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Doru Coman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Hendzel having to interfere. Napoleon Hendzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berkan Temel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkan Temel in the 17th minute of play forced K.S. Wichura Targanice's goalkeeper Napoleon Hendzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Napoleon Hendzel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berkan Temel went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Basarab Panduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pankracy Penkalski hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Berkan Temel in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Napoleon Hendzel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to K.S. Wichura Targanice getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Pankracy Penkalski hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Berkan Temel notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of K.S. Wichura Targanice's Napoleon Hendzel. Napoleon Hendzel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the match, New York Red Bulls's Berkan Temel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Napoleon Hendzel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Berkan Temel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Napoleon Hendzel was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 43rd minute, Basarab Panduru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Doru Coman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berkan Temel was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the K.S. Wichura Targanice defense, Berkan Temel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Napoleon Hendzel. The K.S. Wichura Targanice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Napoleon Hendzel should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Frank Rijkaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. New York Red Bulls's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Rijkaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Napoleon Hendzel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Napoleon Hendzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkan Temel in the 56th minute of play. Pankracy Penkalski made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by New York Red Bulls's Doru Coman. Berkan Temel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Napoleon Hendzel having to make a save. Berkan Temel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Hendzel having to interfere. A collision led to K.S. Wichura Targanice getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Napoleon Wos hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, K.S. Wichura Targanice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Dziewulski to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Frank Rijkaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Napoleon Hendzel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eduardo Pereyra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witold Dziewulski's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Napoleon Hendzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berkan Temel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes New York Red Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Piers Amos. Berkan Temel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Napoleon Hendzel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkan Temel in the 86th minute of play forced K.S. Wichura Targanice's goalkeeper Napoleon Hendzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Napoleon Hendzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Rijkaard in the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in K.S. Wichura Targanice's zone, Frank Rijkaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Napoleon Hendzel came out of the goal and Frank Rijkaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the game, Napoleon Wos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. K.S. Wichura Targanice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New York Red Bulls the free kick. Napoleon Wos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Napoleon Hendzel came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by New York Red Bulls's Berkan Temel. But to his dismay, Berkan Temel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When the referee ended the match the New York Red Bulls players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
