The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Sylvan Baggio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fargo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Momias F. C. the free kick. Sylvan Baggio kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Tjeerd Vonk came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Las Momias F. C.'s Cristian Tarragon. But to his dismay, Cristian Tarragon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14thth minute of the game Virgilio Mangas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Las Momias F. C.'s Camilo Honesto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Billy Sluis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Camilo Honesto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Las Momias F. C.'s Camilo Honesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Mangas in the 21st minute of play. Camilo Honesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Mangas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes of play, Las Momias F. C.'s Erasmo James made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tjeerd Vonk was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th match minute, Fargo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Mangas to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Fargo SC got a freekick which was hit by Sylvan Baggio. Tjeerd Vonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Tarragon in the 28th minute of play. In the 35th minute Haroldo Lleir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tjeerd Vonk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Tarragon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Las Momias F. C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Erasmo James hit a great ball. Jur Reitsma hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Arkadiusz Siekierka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Billy Sluis was the one to do the kick off. Camilo Honesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Siekierka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billy Sluis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Camilo Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Las Momias F. C.'s Camilo Honesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jur Reitsma in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Las Momias F. C.'s Cristian Tarragon got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Siekierka in the 66th minute of play forced Las Momias F. C.'s goalkeeper Camilo Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Las Momias F. C. booed when Fargo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jouke Lever didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fargo SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
