But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jur Reitsma couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Fargo SC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Katarínus Reitsma hit a great ball. Armindo Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Xavier Modesto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tjeerd Vonk. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 32nd minute Arkadiusz Siekierka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hildeberto Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Siekierka's late challenge caught a AM United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arkadiusz Siekierka helped the player get up and apologised. AM United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
