In the 4th minute Svetoslav Vardarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jocke Nilsson in the 7th minute of play. Jonathan Almstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Svetoslav Vardarov went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the match, FC Wingspan's goal looked a bit too open when Svetoslav Vardarov came free, but Jonathan Almstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Lohitzun made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Jan-Olof Abrahamsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute of the match Victor Chus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Almstedt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wingspan's zone, Svetoslav Vardarov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Almstedt came out of the goal and Svetoslav Vardarov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Almstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetoslav Vardarov in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornel Mutu in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Wingspan's goalkeeper Jonathan Almstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Expresso Ranelagh's Svetoslav Vardarov got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Jan Morat with Jens-Ove Nilsson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svetoslav Vardarov in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Almstedt saved FC Wingspan from getting behind. If Jan-Olof Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Expresso Ranelagh made a substitution. Honorato Chap replaced Victor de Souza. Pablo Lohitzun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Tobias Sergi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Expresso Ranelagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Sergi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Almstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvin Engman in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Lohitzun saved Expresso Ranelagh from getting behind. Pablo Lohitzun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arvin Engman's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wingspan's zone, Tobias Sergi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Almstedt came out of the goal and Tobias Sergi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Almstedt had great luck who in the 96thth minute grab hold of the ball when Tobias Sergi from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the match was over Expresso Ranelagh could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Wingspan throughout the match.
