In the 10th minute, Miguel Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cássio de Senna was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Osmar Rosario capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Osmar Rosario really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Osmar Rosario in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cássio de Senna, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 28 minutes into the game, Olavo Carioca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poetass FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROSÁRIO SPORT the free kick. Thanks to some nice moves Osmar Rosario could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Cássio de Senna however easily saved by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Osmar Rosario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio de Senna. Poetass FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osmar Rosario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 44 minutes, Benjamim Guedes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poetass FC and the ROSÁRIO SPORT players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Benjamim Guedes got a free kick in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Osmar Rosario managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROSÁRIO SPORT's supporters rose to their feet, but Osmar Rosario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Rosario in the 60th minute of play. Thiago Mineiro made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Claudinho Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar Rosario in the 65th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Osmar Rosario made a precise shot to the right of Cássio de Senna. Poetass FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. ROSÁRIO SPORT made a substitution. João Carlos Oliveira replaced João Paulo Bueno. Cássio de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar Rosario, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ROSÁRIO SPORT.
