A collision led to Jurassic Monsters SA getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sebastião Salgado hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Carlos Alcaraz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jurassic Monsters SA's Agnaldo do Valle didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Carioca in the 9th minute of play forced Austra 04 VFC's goalkeeper Kitt Pegov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jurassic Monsters SA booed when Austra 04 VFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Austra 04 VFC's Kitt Pegov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Carioca in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Sebastião Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kitt Pegov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Sebastião Salgado notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Austra 04 VFC's Kitt Pegov. Kitt Pegov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno de Castro in the 29th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Agnaldo do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natã Carioca hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes, Carlos Alcaraz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austra 04 VFC and the Jurassic Monsters SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute of the match Robinho Arósio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kitt Pegov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kitt Pegov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Carioca in the 40th minute of play. Austra 04 VFC's Kitt Pegov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Penha in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Josué Penha made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Josué Penha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kitt Pegov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a little luck, Austra 04 VFC's Kitt Pegov got control of the ball when Josué Penha tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sebastião Salgado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. The supporters of Austra 04 VFC booed when Jurassic Monsters SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kitt Pegov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Agnaldo do Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Téo de Salles went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, Bruno de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jano Guedes's late challenge caught a Jurassic Monsters SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jano Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. Jurassic Monsters SA's Natanael da Fonseca was substituted for Robinho Arósio. A collision led to Austra 04 VFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jano Guedes hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Jurassic Monsters SA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
