Iuri Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Catarinense in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Loyola to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Aílton Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Eusébio Tepedino quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aílton Neiva, made in the 24th minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Aílton Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thiago Mineiro was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Gugu Leme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gugu Leme really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 47 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Leme came free, but Thiago Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvinho Amorim made a kick off. In the 51st minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dida Catarinense fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Osmar Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aílton Neiva made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Osmar Rosario. Thiago Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 69th play minutes Osmar Rosario shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Iuri Arruda and just under the crossbar into goal. Dida Catarinense hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Thiago Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Amorim in the 78th minute of play. Thiago Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Dida Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Silvinho Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATHLETICO PRaiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROSÁRIO SPORT the free kick. 89 minutes into the game, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Gugu Leme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Mineiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Aílton Neiva made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Eusébio Tepedino. ATHLETICO PRaiano were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
