The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Roque in the 3rd minute of play forced Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Matheus Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, Zemantauskas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Gol came free, but Matheus Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Zemantauskas FC defense, Vítor Roque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matheus Carneiro. The Zemantauskas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matheus Carneiro should have stopped the shot. Matheus Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Gol in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Vítor Roque notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Zemantauskas FC's Matheus Carneiro. Matheus Carneiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to ATHLETICO PRaiano getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Antonio Ponta hit a great ball. Matheus Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Roque in the 29th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Roque came free, but Matheus Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Zemantauskas FC's Micael Moreira threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ademar de Amorim, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Micael Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Rossi in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Roque to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Antonio Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Matheus Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ademar de Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vítor Roque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Matheus Carneiro made a huge save. Vítor Roque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Roque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matheus Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Antonio Ponta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Gol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matheus Carneiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Gol slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 65th minute. José Paulo Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Paulo Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. José Paulo Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Jailson Cearense with Antonio Ponta as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Roque got free with Matheus Carneiro in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar de Amorim came free, but Micael Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ATHLETICO PRaiano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
