With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Louis Van Bever prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthias Wauters during the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Martijn August's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Louis Van Bever was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. KFC Cromvelde's Karl-Heinz Kaltz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Shaq Francis, made in the 88th minute of the game. The supporters of KFC Cromvelde booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joop Meder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bal op het Dak's zone, Mathijs Rokeloos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harvey Davies came out of the goal and Mathijs Rokeloos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
