Zbigniew Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamza Yavaş in the 54th minute of the match. Hamza Yavaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Paolo Evis replaced Jedrzej Kiszkiel. In the 63rd minute, Armando Felipillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Sergen Şahbender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Brudzisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zbigniew Brudzisz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Zbigniew Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 86th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, William Westelinx put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zbigniew Brudzisz. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Paolo Evis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ouagadougou National's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Evis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbigniew Brudzisz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Ouagadougou National's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
