Isaias Matas ran back to his position shaking his head. Ludo Vanden Bossche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Matas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, The Everett Hawks's Imral Kurniawan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Imral Kurniawan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Everett Hawks protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Imral Kurniawan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 11 minutes into the game, one of The Everett Hawks:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tanek Fronczak made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Olavarria FC's Thys Lenoir. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Matas in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludo Vanden Bossche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Isaias Matas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche. Ludo Vanden Bossche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Matas in the 20th minute of play forced The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Ludo Vanden Bossche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes in the game Tanek Fronczak did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Willem-Jan Grootjans. 24 minutes into the game, Olavarria FC's Isaias Matas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ludo Vanden Bossche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Matas in the 28th minute of play forced The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Ludo Vanden Bossche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Olavarria FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fre van Eijnde fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Michel Hendrickx made a huge save. Ludo Vanden Bossche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Matas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Olavarria FC's Arthur Eekhout got a free kick in the 45th minute. Ludo Vanden Bossche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catalino Rivarola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Catalino Rivarola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ludo Vanden Bossche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Catalino Rivarola in the 60th minute. Catalino Rivarola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ludo Vanden Bossche came out and tried to block the shot, but Catalino Rivarola slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 60th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Isaias Matas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jordi Van Bever's late challenge caught a Olavarria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordi Van Bever helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Jordi Van Bever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olavarria FC made a substitution. Ervigio Ojeda replaced Isaias Matas. Jordi Van Bever hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ervigio Ojeda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludo Vanden Bossche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fre van Eijnde came free, but Michel Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Olavarria FC booed when The Everett Hawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willem-Jan Grootjans didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ervigio Ojeda in the 87th minute of play forced The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Ludo Vanden Bossche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludo Vanden Bossche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ervigio Ojeda in the 90th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Olavarria FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
