Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melker Gudmundsson in the 13th minute of the match. Virgil Lindelöf came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ulises Steven could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Virgil Lindelöf could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Ulises Steven however easily saved by the left post. In the 15th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match Tang Di Nan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yorrick Zoethout skillfully saved the ball. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes SV Balverliefd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tang Di Nan who took care of the corner kick. 24 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jyrki Kujanpää. Daevy Blaine got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Urtsua Macías. When Robertinho Carabajal came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the AFC Koolkerke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robertinho Carabajal couldn't finish the play. SV Balverliefd's Benny De Potter quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daevy Blaine, made in the 31st minute of the game. Virgil Lindelöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Steven having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Robertinho Carabajal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yorrick Zoethout was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 37 minutes SV Balverliefd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tang Di Nan who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Tang Di Nan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yorrick Zoethout quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 44 minutes into the game, AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yorrick Zoethout made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robertinho Carabajal to make the kick off. Yorrick Zoethout was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Robertinho Carabajal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robertinho Carabajal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. A collision led to AFC Koolkerke getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Daevy Blaine hit a great ball. If Robertinho Carabajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Stenberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 74thth minute of the game Aykutalp Tecelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulises Steven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix van As, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 86th minute Aykutalp Tecelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melker Gudmundsson in the 88th minute of the match. Fabrizio Di Muzio charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrizio Di Muzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykutalp Tecelli in the 95th minute of play. The AFC Koolkerke supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC Koolkerke would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
