Brugge United's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tran Vrolijcx in the 57th minute of play. Guido Vissenaeken might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kajetan Dawiec. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Vissenaeken ran back to his position shaking his head. Guido Vissenaeken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Kajetan Dawiec made a huge save. Vítor Baia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jordi Paschiers's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Baldaia came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Jordi Paschiers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ad Fundum's Kajetan Dawiec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Ad Fundum from getting a goal against them. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Ümit Karan advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-4 in the 90th minute. Guido Vissenaeken ran back to his position shaking his head. Brugge United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
