An unexpectedly hard shot by Tran Vrolijcx in the 3rd minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ad Fundum's Kajetan Dawiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Sócrates in the 6th minute of play. Unai Sócrates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Dawiec having to interfere. In the 13thth minute of the game Unai Sócrates who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ad Fundum's Kajetan Dawiec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Karel Cromefeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Fauna Utd from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Fauna Utd booed when Ad Fundum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Budianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fauna Utd's Pieterjan Anteunis got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute Jordi Paschiers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radamel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Unai Sócrates had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kajetan Dawiec. Ad Fundum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Unai Sócrates was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Radamel Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Cornea in the 30th minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Fauna Utd's Pieterjan Anteunis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kajetan Dawiec was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kajetan Dawiec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Unai Sócrates's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Fauna Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 董文鹰 in the 37th minute. The throw-in from Pierre-Paul Van Dijck in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fauna Utd's Octav Zdraşcu. In the 43rdth minute of the game Unai Sócrates who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ad Fundum's Kajetan Dawiec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Radamel Hendrickx successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Unai Sócrates sped through Ad Fundum's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kajetan Dawiec. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

In the 51st minute, Pierre-Paul Van Dijck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radamel Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Cornea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, Ad Fundum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Bruse to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Jordi Paschiers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radamel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Unai Sócrates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kajetan Dawiec made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Unai Sócrates sent off a good shot on target. Manfred Bruse was slow to take the kick. During this time Ad Fundum's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Fauna Utd's Karel Cromefeldt got a free kick in the 81st minute. Pierre-Paul Van Dijck made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alexandre Van Beneden immediately put the ball in play. Radamel Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordi Paschiers in the 84th minute of the match. Unai Sócrates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kajetan Dawiec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordi Paschiers in the 88th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jordi Paschiers in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radamel Hendrickx saved Fauna Utd from getting behind. Pierre-Paul Van Dijck's late challenge caught a Fauna Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre-Paul Van Dijck helped the player get up and apologised. Pierre-Paul Van Dijck kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Unai Sócrates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Fauna Utd left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ad Fundum.
