In the 4th minute SV Balverliefd were awarded a corner. Harmen Kloppenburg went to the cornerflag to take it. Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykutalp Tecelli in the 12th minute of play. Fabian Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jyrki Kujanpää, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Aykutalp Tecelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aykutalp Tecelli. 24 minutes into the game, Virgil Lindelöf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fabian Söderström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 26 played minutes Haithabu FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramzi Drouart. If Ramzi Drouart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Fabian Söderström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 39 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgil Lindelöf. Virgil Lindelöf took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Söderström. Fabian Söderström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramzi Drouart in the 43rd minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramzi Drouart made a kick off. The Haithabu FC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Haithabu FC's Ramzi Drouart looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aykutalp Tecelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabian Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Lindelöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save SV Balverliefd from getting a goal against them. In the 65th match minute, Haithabu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Albonico to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aykutalp Tecelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Sylwester Sobania hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes SV Balverliefd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Conrad Vrolijcx who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Haithabu FC's Conrad Vrolijcx to fire away a dangerous shot which Yorrick Zoethout despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fabian Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Lindelöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Gudmundsson in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SV Balverliefd's Melker Gudmundsson got a free kick in the 81st minute. Haithabu FC's Jacinto Torres was substituted for Ramzi Drouart. The supporters of Haithabu FC booed when SV Balverliefd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Gudmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benny De Potter made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Melker Gudmundsson however managed to control. In the 86th minute, Melker Gudmundsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV Balverliefd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 91 minutes into the match, Virgil Lindelöf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Söderström. Haithabu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgil Lindelöf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 95th minute, Jacinto Torres fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yorrick Zoethout, passed just outside the right post.
