Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Guido Vissenaeken got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Brugge United's Sandro Gaúcho got a free kick in the 5th minute. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 minutes KFC Cromvelde's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaspar Van Den Broeck who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Brugge United's corner Dieter Uyttebroeck fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jean-Louis Van Bever quite easily take care of the ball. Jean-Louis Van Bever came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken. But to his dismay, Guido Vissenaeken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's Mathijs Rokeloos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vítor Baia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathijs Rokeloos took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vítor Baia. Vítor Baia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Gaúcho during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Gaúcho. Guido Vissenaeken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé 武松, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Arnauld Van Impe came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Brugge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnauld Van Impe couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean-Louis Van Bever. Jean-Louis Van Bever yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waud Huijbrechts in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Mathijs Rokeloos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor Baia. Brugge United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathijs Rokeloos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathijs Rokeloos in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Baia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes in the game, Mathijs Rokeloos dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Mathijs Rokeloos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vítor Baia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jean-Louis Van Bever. That made the score 3-3 after 90 minutes of play. 95 minutes into the match, Mathijs Rokeloos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor Baia. Brugge United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathijs Rokeloos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KFC Cromvelde had won after a very even match.
