The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Draconia's Jerome Ngake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Albonico in the 5th minute of play. Benny Van der Poorten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Fabian Söderström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Ramzi Drouart came free, but Jerome Ngake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Quinteros in the 29th minute of the match. FC Draconia's Jerome Ngake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramzi Drouart in the 32nd minute of play. Joaquin Lekubegi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Fabian Söderström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adrian Astigar struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Jerome Ngake didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haithabu FC. In the 46th minute, Ramzi Drouart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haithabu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacio Quinteros to strike the kick off in the second half. Jerome Ngake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Albonico, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Quinteros in the 54th minute of play forced Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Lekubegi came free, but Fabian Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Torres's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jerome Ngake firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 64th match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Quinteros to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Draconia's Ignacio Quinteros got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jerome Ngake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Albonico in the 68th minute of play. Kurt Slaghmeulders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haithabu FC made a substitution. Sylwester Sobania replaced Adrian Astigar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Albonico in the 84th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Jerome Ngake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerome Ngake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Albonico in the 88th minute of the match. FC Draconia's Jerome Ngake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauri Icardi in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Mauri Icardi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jerome Ngake. The goal made the score 0-2. The FC Draconia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Haithabu FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Haithabu FC.
