FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Baldaia in the 35th minute of play. Pierre-Paul Van Dijck's late challenge caught a FC Bal op het Dak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre-Paul Van Dijck was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 46th minute, Pierre-Paul Van Dijck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Kjellman to make the kick off. Dan Kjellman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kajetan Dawiec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 57th minute Manfred Bruse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Davies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Dan Kjellman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Martijn August replaced Dan Kjellman. José Luis Brown charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Luis Brown the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ad Fundum booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Luis Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Baldaia got free with Harvey Davies in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Constantin Budianu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Jordi Paschiers came free, but Harvey Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ad Fundum's zone, Marick Brunt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kajetan Dawiec came out of the goal and Marick Brunt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kajetan Dawiec came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bal op het Dak's Martijn August. But to his dismay, Martijn August quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Ad Fundum booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berten De Spiegeleire didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ad Fundum players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Bal op het Dak.
